About Me
I am a scientist and outdoor photographer based in Brisbane. I am passionate about researching, exploring and capturing the beauty of nature "From microbes to mountains"

I started my photography journey more than 10 years ago in Berlin with a Fujifilm X-T10 and multiple film cameras. I very much enjoyed street photography and going to the botanical gardens to capture the different seasons. In my free time I am often drawn to the mountains to go hiking and camping. In 2018 I moved to Brisbane and my photography changed quite a lot. Having so much nature around truly inspired me to step up my photography skills. From ancient rainforests, over perfect beaches, to sheer rock-walls, I have developed a deep curiosity on how to capture different facets of nature.
I am always looking for interesting plants and animals and have divided my images in four categories: Mountains, Water, Wildlife and Flora. I hope you enjoy them!
